It is January 8th a new year, a new beginning to another academic year. I am very grateful to the Almighty Allah who has enabled me to be with you on this day as the school principal. I am delighted to welcome you to the family of Madhrasthul Ifthithah with a great feeling of excitement and anticipation. As a family, I am grateful for the boundless contributions you have made to the school in the past years that have put you at the vanguard of the fight for Education. It is particularly pleasing that you have chosen Ifthithah as an institution to render your services.
Dear teachers. Today education is considered a multidisciplinary weapon to compete in the labor market by defeating the weaker counterpart it is also seen as a contemporary fundamental right for society. Education in the Maldives has a long heritage having its genesis linkage with Islamic Education and value since Islam has provided the baseline for knowledge and science.
Therefore, we must always be focused on our essential role in encouraging and developing well-rounded individuals who will be responsible, articulate, who can love the nation, think for them, form their own opinions, and are empowered to take their place in leadership roles in our ever-changing society.
I am a very optimistic individual who believes in diversity. Nationality or clustering position in society must not be a hindrance to working at Ifthithaah. Together, we all can start working hard for the best ability to bring positive changes to this beloved school. I am more than sure that my colleagues, parents, students, stakeholders, different social agencies, and elites will put more effort than anyone else into the better of our Madrasathul Ifthithaah in bringing up the students to learn to know, learn to do, learn to be, learn to live together and learn to live sustainably.
May Allah save and protect us. Ameen
